Tim regularly guides both boards and senior executives through transformation periods in their businesses. Tim’s clients appreciate his pragmatic and straightforward approach, combined with his unrivalled expertise navigating complex regulatory landscapes. Tim is the Law Council of Australia’s representative on the ASX Corporate Governance Council and currently sits on the boards of Cooper Energy Limited and the National Portrait Gallery Foundation.
Himashi is an experienced compliance and operational risk professional with a career spanning 18 years. Prior to joining KWM, Himashi was responsible for heading first line governance, regulatory implementation & remediation at an international bank. She has worked across the Financial Services industry including banking, industry bodies and brokers. Himashi’s stakeholders appreciate her ability to articulate complex regulatory themes in practical terms and her open approach.
Emma sits across KWM’s Corporate Governance, Climate and ESG, and Mergers and Acquisitions teams. She advises many of Australia’s largest listed companies, as well as a range of unlisted and not-for-profit entities, across the different stages of their corporate journeys. She specialises in applying Australia’s corporate and securities laws, and best practice governance principles, in the climate and ESG context.
Yiwen is a Senior Associate with extensive experience advising boards and senior management across a range of corporate governance, regulatory and compliance issues. Yiwen is well known in the market for providing prudent and practical advice, delivered with a broader regard for market practice and commercial imperatives. Yiwen’s recent experience includes advising on complex board independence issues, corporate governance issues, executive remuneration arrangements and the implementation of the Financial Accountability Regime for a range of clients.
Jack is a solicitor working across KWM’s Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation practices. Jack has experience assisting boards, executives, and financial institutions navigate Australia’s complex and ever-evolving regulatory landscape. Jack’s experience has seen him regularly assist in regulatory compliance advice relating to the Corporations Act, Banking Act, Privacy Act, AML/CTF Act and Autonomous Sanctions Act and advising on requirements for bodies such as APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC and the OAIC through a variety of regimes, including the APRA prudential standards, continuous disclosure, and financial accountability regimes.
